01 β€” What you're dealing with

If life with your dog feels harder than it should.

You are not alone. I work with owners on the problems that affect everyday life most β€” at home, on walks, and everywhere in between.

Wall 01

The walk you dread.

Pulling, lunging, zig-zagging. A lead that feels like a tug of war and a walk you'd rather skip.

Wall 02

The recall that isn't.

They come back when it suits them. So the lead stays on, and the dog never really gets to be a dog.

Wall 03

The dog who can't settle.

Barking, jumping, over-excitement, reacting to everything. Never quite switching off.

01 Lead pulling and difficult walks

02 Recall and off-lead reliability

03 Barking and over-excitement

04 Jumping up and poor impulse control

05 House manners and home routine

06 Sit, stay, settle, everyday obedience

07 Reactivity and aggression

08 Separation-related behaviour

09 Confidence, calmness and better focus

10 Ongoing support when things get stuck

“If everyday life with your dog feels harder than it should, that's usually the reason people come to me.”

02 β€” How it works

How we help you move forward.

The first step is getting clear on what's going on and what needs to happen next. You'll know where you stand, what your options are, and how to start making progress.

01

Tell us what's going on.

Everything starts with understanding your dog properly β€” the behaviour, the day-to-day challenges, and what you want to improve.

βœ“ We take time to understand your dog
βœ“ We look at home, walks and real life
βœ“ Honest guidance on the best next step

02

Get a clear recommendation.

Not every dog needs the same kind of help. We point you to the programme and level of support that actually makes sense.

βœ“ Matched to your dog and your life
βœ“ Club, 1:1, residential or a mix
βœ“ You leave knowing what to do next

03

Start with the right support.

Training is delivered in the format that gives you the best chance of success.

βœ“ Group sessions on the paddock
βœ“ Residential for owners UK-wide
βœ“ 1:1 at the paddock or your home

04

Build a dog you can live with.

The goal isn't better behaviour in a session. It's a dog that's calmer and easier to live with every day.

βœ“ Focused on what affects real life most
βœ“ Group training included
βœ“ Ongoing support to keep progress moving

03 β€” The method

The SMART Method.

07 β€” Questions

Frequently asked.

Where do I start?

The first step is booking an assessment. That gives us the chance to understand your dog, the challenges you're dealing with, and the kind of support that's going to help most. From there we can recommend the right next step.

Do I need to know which programme I need?

No. You don't need to work that out on your own. Once we understand your dog, your goals and the issues you're dealing with, we can guide you towards the programme and level of support that makes the most sense.

What kind of dogs do you work with?

Puppies, adolescent dogs, adult dogs and more challenging behaviour cases. That includes everyday obedience, recall, lead pulling, over-excitement, reactivity, and dogs that need clearer boundaries and better structure.

Where are you based?

Our paddock is at Church Cottage, St Cross South Elmham, near Harleston on the Norfolk–Suffolk border. We also help owners further afield through residential and online training.

Can you help with reactivity?

Yes. We work with dogs struggling with reactivity, over-arousal, poor boundaries, and behaviour that makes everyday life harder than it should be. Serious cases usually start 1:1 before joining the group.

Is this only for sport or working dogs?

No. Most of the work is helping owners with real-life behaviour and obedience. Scott also has a strong background in dog sport, and that depth of experience shapes the standards, clarity and structure behind how the training works.
